形容詞の前に"nice and " を入れると、「話者が以下の形容詞はいいことだと思っている」という意味になります。

（例）

nice and early 早いことはいいことだ

nice and clean  清潔なことはいいことだ

They got home around four o'clock yesterday afternoon so that was nice and early.
